Hey Everyone!

So I’m pretending to plan a wedding through these inspiration boards.   I’ve been married for 4 years now, but pinterest wasn’t around back then and things for a wedding just wasn’t as gorgeous as they are now.

I’m a huge fan of simple, delicate and elegant designs.  I love lines (duh have you seen my website and blog design), symmetry and modern influences.  I’ve seen this trend in wedding cakes as well.  Gone are the days of columns and water streaming down the center.  Now it’s all about clean lines, uncluttered designs and with sometimes a small surprise of color.   I love it!

I want cake now!

Have you heard of the amazing new blog called The EveryGirl?  It is the brain child of Danielle Moss and Alaina Kaczmarski and was created as an “online resource helping shape the creative, career-driven woman to experience her life better lived. It is the inspiration to help women achieve their dreams, whatever they may be.”  It’s so inspiring . . . it is created by two very successful women to empower other women to live their best life and follow their dreams.  I fully support their vision and dream!

A few months ago Sarah Tucker of Sarah Tucker Events asked if I wanted to join her in this project . . . well I said yes of course!   How could I pass up such an amazing opportunity to work with her.   Then I found out that it was for The EveryGirl and it made the experience and opportunity even sweeter.

Our featured post was launched last week and I wanted to share a few additional images from the shoot.   I had the pleasure of also meeting Leigh Growney from The Short Giraffe Mini Confections & Catering, Cami from Camilyn Beth Designs and her sister Ashten.

Thank you everyone who participated in this shoot.   It would not have been this successful if it wasn’t for all of us working together.   Danielle & Alaina, thank you so much for the opportunity.  The “no fuss dinner party” feature is so gorgeous and helpful.   Until next time!!!  :)
